What is InDance International Barcelona?

InDance international is a non for profit organisation which brings to life opportunities for ALL through platforms, events, workshops, retreats, international exchange and collaboration.

We provide a multitude of opportunities in performance, technology and education for performers, students, entrepreneurs, choreographers, videographers and photographers working in the medium of Dance, Theatre, Technology, Digital media in Europe and beyond.

We believe performance opportunities allow for a performer and creator to flourish, grow and expand. And as a result the capabilities of ALL communities of any nationality, economic status and geographical location can be illuminated to gain recognition and acceptance through performances and exhibitions.

InDance International is a beckon for the creator, to lead and inspire through performance and technology. Every participant can reinvent, create and are able to make a mark which impacts society through Dance and Technology. We aim to recognize the abilities and achievements of communities residing in Europe and Internationally.

About us

InDance was established in 2017 and is a international platform held in the heart of Barcelona City in partnership with performing arts schools, institutes and organizations. We offer extensive professional performance opportunities for Post Graduate Students, Emerging Choreographers and Performers, Companies and Independent Artists. InDance International Barcelona, Dance and Technology is an experimental platform open to international organizations and Newly established and Professional Choreographers. Collaborators of InDance Barcelona 2018 included: Sansha Barcelona, S.A.E school of Technology, Barcelona Dance, Institute of the Arts Barcelona, Loon Visuals, Roller Skaters, Jenna Pollack, and Raul Tamez of Mexico International Dance Festival. Photography and images, Terry Lair and Gerard Franco with selected images and editing by Harriet Macauley. In 2018 InDance Barcelona developed numerous video footage in the city of Barcelona with the support of international partners, performing arts schools, independent artists, institutes and organizations. Artistic Director Harriet Macauley selected schools, graduate students, emerging choreographers, performers, companies and independent artists to be a part of the first InDance Barcelona.

WHAT WE OFFER

We offer international collaborations, photography, videography, scholarships and participation for schools, and establishments globally to perform and participate in a international event. InDance Barcelona 2020 provides a specialist *Star Lab photography session for Independent Photographers, Dancers and MultiMedia Artists to test ideas with recent graduates and professional artists working InDance.
